How to find the postal code or address you are looking for


Japan Postal Code is a complete directory of postal codes used in Japan. In addition to the code itself, it shows the location map and how to properly write an address if you want to send mail to Japan.

How to use? If you have:

a) the address and want to know the zip code
Use the navigation below. Start by choosing the province from the list below. After that select the city and the district.

b) only part of the address and want to know the zip code
Use the search box at the top of this page. Enter part of the address (city, district, etc). The result will bring up a list of every address containing the keyword.

c) only the zip code and want to know the address or location
Enter the postal code in the search box at the top of this page.

Begin the Search by Selecting the Province/Prefecture


To find the zip code of a given location, the first step is to choose one of the provinces (called "prefectures" in Japan) below. The next step will be city and in the third (and last), the district.
